We went to the centre of Trujillo to have breakfast and finally left Trujillo at 11.30am to go to Lima. The trip should have been around 8h long but as usual in Peru it ended up being a bit longer and we arrived only at 9.30pm in Lima. This has been a very long trip, we had time to watch 3 movies and to get very bored as well. All the Peruvian coast is a desert and the landscapes are not very varied but at some stage we passed through stunning lanscapes. We also have been very surprised when the bus stopped at a restaurant for lunch to see one of the driver to get out of the boot of the bus where he was sleeping on a matrees! In Lima we went straight to our hotel, a beautiful and huge colonial house very well renovated. Nice view from the cafeteria located on the roof. Lucky us, the lady of the hotel cafeteria accepted to serve us even if we arrived very late, and the spaghetti Bolognese was delicious.
