We did not have much sleep as our dorm was close to the bar and some guys were drinking and shouting all night up to 6am. After struggling to find any mugs and plates to have breakfast (....we would not recommend this hostel at all!) we went to the National Park to do the coastal walk up to Hell's Gate. The weather was great and the views were very nice, however it was very hot so it was great to have a swim on the way back at the lovely beach of Tea Tree Bay. We had lunch in a garden with view on the very nice houses located along the Noosa river and then drove to Mooloolaba. Initially we tried to book accommodation in Caloundra but all hostels were booked up. Mooloolaba turned out to be a good place to relax.....but such a difficult name to remember! The beach is nice and you have got a lot of shops, restaurants and cafes on the main street which stretches along the beach. Mooloolaba is one of the high rise cities of the Sunshine Coast, Peregian Beach and Coolum Beach that we passed coming from Noosa looked like quieter options. Just after Coolum Beach there is a lookout to not miss as it offers stunning coastal views. Our hostel in Mooloolaba was not the best, very big and quite messy, but we had a nice evening with 2 girls and 1 guy from Estonia.
