We had a walk around Puno in the morning to take some pictures. There is not many things to see in Puno but after being in Cusco it was nice to be in a town not only made for tourists. In the afternoon we went to Silustani with a tour (S/25 all included, transport, guide, entrance to the site). On the way we enjoyed the impressive landscapes of the Altiplano. Silustani was a cemetery for pre-incas civilisations and also for the Incas, it is located within beautiful landscapes next to a lake. You can see towers of different styles depending of their age. Those towers were built to burry momies of importants people. The visit was short but nice and ended under the rain....it was freezing cold! We returned to Puno where we kept ourself busy (Internet, shopping, dinner,...) until we caught our night bus at 8.30pm to Tacna (Julsa, S/40 in first class, ticket for the luggage).
