We caught the ferry at 8am (3h30 trip, Bluebridge, $240 for a car and 2 people) and arrived at 11h.30am in lovely Picton. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the quietness of Picton and the beautiful landscapes of the Malborough Sound. We did a short walk to the Harbour lookout (1h return) and also booked a tour for the next day to walk part of the Queen Charlotte track.
