We spent another day relaxing in Pakse, eating delicious fries at our favourite cafe just on the right of the Lankham hotel (the service is not that good but the food is tasty!) and having nice cappuccinos at Sinouk Café. It rained nearly all the day making us realise that May is really the beginning of the rainy season in Laos. In the evening we caught our night bus to Ventiane, a "sleeper bus" (150.000 Kips, 10h). We had never seen that before, there were no seats in the bus but bunk beds (see pictures)! We had to say that the bus was quite comfortable and we did sleep better than in a conventional bus.
