We left Te Anau under a beautiful sun, what a difference compare to the terrible weather we had yesterday. Our first stop on our way to Queenstown was at the Lake Manapouri, a beautiful lake offering stunning views on the mountains. Then we drove straight to Queenstown enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. We stopped in Queenstown to buy some food as we planned to stay in Glenorchy for the next two days and there is no grocery store in this very small town. Driving from Queenstown to Glenorchy was very enjoyable as the road is amazing, the views on the lake Wakatipu and the mountains are stunning! In Glenorchy we stayed in the only hostel located at the back of the only pub. This is a very small hostel, only three rooms! In the evening we had a great time having a drink on the terrace of the pub enjoying the views on the mountains.
