Today we left Sydney for Singapore where we will start our Asian adventure. We had a great time in Australia, Sydney and the Red Centre being the highlights of our trip. Our 7h flight to Singapore went well, for a change we got a very nice plane with personal screens so we could pick the movies we wanted to watch. Moreover we were lucky to enjoy stunning views at sunset when flying over the Indian Ocean (see pictures). Arriving in Singapore we quickly passed the customs and made our way to the city centre. We caught the MRT, the very modern metro of Singapore, very clean and pleasant to travel with. We discovered that in this metro you only use re-usable tickets that you have to return after your journey to get your S$1 back. As soon as we stepped out of the metro we found out that the weather like in Cairns (Australia) was very hot and humid. Exhausted after a very long day we straight went to our hostel.
