We went in the morning to LAN office in Miraflores (taxi S/ 8) to try to get our money back for the cancelled flight. As we could only fly the next day and we did not want to spend another day in Lima we decided to not go to Pulcallpa and go to Huaraz instead. After a heated argument with the LAN customer service we realised they will not refund our ticket and will not give us any compensation, but we still managed to not loose our money by using the value of our ticket to buy another ticket to fly from Arica to Santiago at the end of our South American trip. We then went to Barranco (taxi S/5) another nice part of Lima close to Miraflores where we had lunch. Afterward we walked back to Miraflores visiting this nice and quiet area of Lima. We saw a part of Miraflores that we missed out in our first stay in Lima. This area is full of shops and restaurants, we understood why people like to come here to relax. We had a lovely coffee in the first Starbucks we found in South America. Happy day!!! We spent the end of the day updating the blog.....you can check our hard work and look at all the nice pictures we have added (it is really hard in South America to find a computer where you can upload pictures on the Internet).
